The current home surveillance cameras are mainly gun models for outdoor use, network cameras for indoor use, and dome cameras for street use, but high-speed dome network cameras are used for some special requirements. It can be said that the venues used by each model are also different. So how to set up a network camera monitoring system? The following editor will explain to you.
1. Selection of equipment:
Generally speaking, for homes or small supermarkets where the requirements are not very high, a 1.3 megapixel camera is enough. If you want a clearer picture, then use 2 megapixels. It depends on the value of the lens. The larger the value of the lens, the farther and the smaller the angle will be. The smaller the value of the lens, the closer the angle will be. The commonly used lens values are 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 12mm, 16mm, 25mm.
2. The choice of hard disk video recorder:
It is NVR and camera, try to choose H.265 encoding, because H.265 is the latest encoding technology, which requires low network bandwidth and better imaging effect. The hard disk adopts special hard disk for monitoring, which has a longer life.
3. Wiring:
To install a network camera, you need a network cable, power cable, familiar tools, and find the most suitable wiring location and distance. Each camera needs to be connected to the network cable and power cable, and the other end of the network cable needs to be connected to the switch.
4. Power supply:
All equipment needs to be powered on to operate. Choosing the right power supply method not only determines the simplicity of construction, but also determines the stability of the later stage.
The method of setting up a network camera monitoring system is first shared here. The monitoring system is composed of five major parts: camera, transmission, control, display, and record registration. The network camera transmits the video image to the control host through the coaxial video cable, and the control host distributes the video signal to each monitor and video equipment, and simultaneously records the voice signal that needs to be transmitted into the video recorder.
