Troubleshoot the reason why there is no sound from the network camera:

1. First determine whether the audio input of the network camera is LINEIN (linear level), if it is to determine the LINE audio input port, then check whether the power supply of the pickup is normal, and check whether the connection of the pickup is correct.

2. Check the connection of the audio signal output of the pickup. Generally, the audio input connector of the network camera is a 3.5 headphone connector, so the corresponding audio signal cable of the pickup should be converted to a 3.5 headphone connector. It should be noted that although you have connected the 3.5 headphone connector, the 3.5 connector is divided into dual channel and single channel, that is, stereo and mono. Check that your 3.5 connector is dual channel It's still single-channel. If it is confirmed that it is mono, then the positive pole of the pickup is connected to the positive pole of 3.5, and the negative pole is connected to the negative pole. If you have a dual-channel case, then there will be a three-core cable, the negative of the pickup is connected to the negative of 3.5, and the positive is connected to the other two cores corresponding to the 3.5 connector, which are the left and right channels.

3. The audio input of some brands of network cameras now has both, LINE and MIC input, that is to say an audio input port, it may be the left channel is LINE and the right channel is MIC. In this case, You can't connect the left and right channels in parallel with the positive terminal of 3.5, they must be connected separately.

4. If the connector is an international standard interface, if there are two black wires on the 3.5 headphone connector, it means a dual-channel interface. The two black wires are actually from the insulating ring, the tip of the 3.5 connector It is the stereo left channel, the middle of the insulating ring is the right channel, and the root is the negative electrode, which is ground. If it is a mono 3.5 connector, on the contrary, only a black insulating ring can be seen, that is, the pointed one is positive and the root is negative.
