With the continuous development of science and technology, the competition of security products is also very large. Now the types of security products are countless in the market. Network cameras integrate video compression and network transmission processing modules on the basis of analog cameras, so they have both the technical characteristics of analog cameras and video servers. What are the performance characteristics of the network camera? This article will give you a brief introduction, let's take a look!
1. Powerful operation functions: multiple display forms; multi-screen intelligent patrol inspection; multiple early warning forms; video recording methods such as real-time, punctuality, alarm triggering, start and stop at any time; photo capture and printing; intelligent fast video playback query, etc.
2. Remote real-time monitoring: Taking advantage of the network, the digitized and compressed image data can reach the place where the network can reach, realizing remote monitoring.
3. Security transmission: In the analog era, analog signals are transmitted through copper cables, and then the matrix is used to switch pure electrical signals. This method that has little to do with digital and network makes signal encryption impossible (VCR tape’s Not tampering is another matter). In the worst case, the front-end camera may have been tuned but the control center personnel have not noticed it yet. The network camera's video occlusion, video loss alarm function, video encryption function, authority management and other functions can better prevent such problems.
4. Synchronization method: The synchronization methods of network cameras generally include internal synchronization, power synchronization and external synchronization. External synchronization (EXT) uses a synchronization signal generated by an external synchronization signal generator to send to the camera's external synchronization input to achieve synchronization. The synchronization signal can be a color composite video or black burst signal (VBS), a black and white composite video or a composite synchronization signal (VS), and can also be a multiplexed vertical drive signal (VD2) and composite video output signal of an external device such as a matrix. Internal synchronization (INT) uses the crystal oscillator circuit inside the network camera to generate a synchronization signal to complete the operation. Power synchronization (LL, LineLocked), also called linear locking or line locking, uses the AC power supply of the network camera to complete the vertical drive synchronization, that is, the network camera is synchronized with the power zero line.
