Device not appearing when adding to cloud storage service?
Reason for the issue: The device does not support cloud storage function or the device is not currently in a home that has purchased cloud storage.
Process for handling issues:
Step 1: Check if the device supports cloud storage.
1) According to the provided device ID, query the corresponding product PID in the device management of the IoT platform (Note: choose the correct data center).
2)The PID that supports cloud storage will be displayed in the dashboard of the Smart Protect workstation. This is to confirm whether the device that the user wants to activate supports cloud storage.;
a,If supported, proceed to the step 2;
b,If not supported, inform the user that there are currently no cloud storage devices supported in this home, and therefore cannot be added. It is recommended to refund the user or use other cloud storage devices that are supported;
Step 2: Check if the device is currently under the home where cloud storage was purchased.
Process for handling issues: Currently, the IoT platform does not support querying the home information of a device. Please confirm with the user whether the device has been paired with another home. If the homes are not consistent, the device needs to be paired back to the home where the cloud storage was purchased
